Samsung has officially launched its latest flagship tablets in Malaysia, the Galaxy Tab S12+ and Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra.
This generation focuses heavily on AI, creative tools and productivity. Both tablets include an S Pen, making them useful for note-taking, drawing, editing and everyday work.
AI and Productivity Features
The Galaxy Tab S12 series is Samsung’s first tablet lineup to support Adobe Photoshop, with buyers getting four months of access to the Photoshop mobile plan. The app is optimised for tablets and works with the included S Pen.
Other supported creative apps include Clip Studio Paint and LumaFusion.
AI is another major focus. Users can access Bixby, Gemini and Perplexity through a dedicated Galaxy AI key.
For multitasking, Samsung’s DeX mode is also included, while the multi-window feature allows up to three sections on the screen for working with multiple apps.
Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra
The Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra features a 14.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 2,960 × 1,848 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1,600 nits of brightness.
It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500, paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Storage can be expanded up to 2TB using a microSD card.
The tablet packs an 11,600mAh battery with 45W charging and uses a redesigned 3D vapour chamber for improved heat management.
Other features include Android 17 with One UI 9, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0 and an optional 5G connection.
For cameras, the Ultra has a 13MP main camera, 8MP ultra-wide camera and 12MP front camera.

The Galaxy Tab S12+ comes with a 12.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, 2,800 × 1,752 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1,600 nits of brightness.
It uses the same Dimensity 9500 chipset, 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, with microSD expansion up to 2TB.
The battery is slightly smaller at 10,600mAh, while charging remains at 45W.
